Acorn, AR

Acorn is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place in Polk County, Arkansas, about six miles north of Mena. It sits at the junction of U.S. Routes 59, 71, and 270, so the road crossing is central to its local identity. Acorn is also home to Acorn Elementary School and Acorn High School in the Ouachita River School District. The community is small, but its school campus and highway location give it a clear role in northern Polk County.
