About Addis

Addis is a town in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, operating as part of the Baton Rouge metropolitan area. Founded in 1881 as Baton Rouge Junction for the Texas and Pacific Railroad, the community of approximately 7,252 was renamed in 1909 to honor J. Addis. Public education is served by the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board.
