Affton, MO

Affton is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in south St. Louis County, close to the city of St. Louis. It is named for early postmaster Johann Aff and has long functioned as a practical inner suburb rather than a separate city. Several schools and districts serve the area, including Affton School District, Bayless School District, Lutheran High School South, and Holy Cross Academy. Affton feels established and everyday: brick houses, commercial corridors, churches, schools, and quick access to the larger St. Louis region.
