Ahuimanu, HI

Ahuimanu is a census-designated place on Oahu's windward side, in the City and County of Honolulu. It sits near Kaneohe, Heeia, and Kahaluu along State Route 83, with the Ko'olau range shaping the background and the local weather. A small commercial area sits across the highway from Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, one of the area's better-known landmarks. Ahuimanu is mostly residential, but its setting gives it a lush, windward Oahu feel very different from Honolulu's urban core.
