Alapaha, GA

Alapaha is a small, quiet community tucked into Berrien County in southern Georgia, with a population of around 500 residents. The town takes its name from the nearby Alapaha River and grew up around a Brunswick and Albany Railroad depot built in the 1870s. Covering only about a square mile, it sits right at the junction of Highways 82 and 129, giving locals an easy drive to larger nearby spots like Tifton, Nashville, and Douglas.
