Allentown, NJ

Allentown is a charming, historic borough in western Monmouth County, right along the Mercer County border. With around 1,800 residents, the community has the feel of a quiet country village surrounded by rolling farmland and open space. Main Street serves as the town hub, featuring historic buildings, local coffee spots, antique shops, and a scenic millpond that give the area an authentic small-town atmosphere.

Students attend the Upper Freehold Regional School District, which includes Allentown High School right in the borough. The surrounding area has a strong equestrian tradition, with the Horse Park of New Jersey just down the road and plenty of nearby parks for outdoor recreation. While everyday life moves at a relaxed pace, close proximity to Interstate 195 and the New Jersey Turnpike makes commuting to Princeton, Trenton, Philadelphia, or the Jersey Shore straightforward.
