Tucked into the rolling hills of Allegany County, Almond offers a relaxed, small-town setting along the Canisteo River valley. Sitting right off Interstate 86, it makes an easy home base for anyone commuting to Hornell for groceries and healthcare, or heading a few minutes south to the college campuses in Alfred. Much of the landscape is made up of scenic valley farms and quiet country roads that lead into a small, charming village center.
