American Canyon, CA

American Canyon occupies southern Napa County about 35 miles northeast of San Francisco in the Bay Area. Incorporated in 1992, the city had 21,837 residents in 2020. The Napa River marks its western side, the foothills of the Sulfur Springs Mountains rise to the east, and Vallejo and Solano County lie to the south; vineyards and Napa County Airport are to the north. American Canyon Creek crosses the city on its way to the Napa River, and the unincorporated community of Napa Junction is adjacent. Owens Corning Masonry Products and Mezzetta are among the city’s major employers.
