Anmoore, WV

Located three miles southeast of Clarksburg where Interstate 79 meets Route 58, Anmoore is a small Harrison County community of around 500 people. Named after the local stream Ann Moore Run, the area was first settled in 1772 and later grew in the early 1900s around the Grasselli Chemical Company. That industrial expansion brought families from Italy, Spain, Poland, and Hungary, creating a rich cultural heritage that helped shape the town.
