Anna, TX

Anna is a fast-growing city in Collin County, Texas, north of the Dallas-Fort Worth core. Its early growth was tied to the Houston and Texas Central Railway, which reached the area in 1872 after the Civil War. Today Anna is expanding rapidly as North Texas development moves farther up the U.S. 75 corridor. Most residents are served by Anna Independent School District, and Collin College has a local presence. The city still has small-town roots, but its trajectory is clearly suburban growth.
