Arimo, ID

Arimo is a Bannock County city in Idaho's Marsh Valley, part of the Pocatello metropolitan area. The city sits near the north end of the valley between Marsh Creek and the Portneuf River, with Interstate 15 and old U.S. 91 providing the main regional lines. Railroad history reaches back to 1878, when the Utah and Northern Railway reached Oneida, the earlier name associated with the settlement. Arimo's setting is a broad agricultural valley backed by the ranges of southeast Idaho.

Arimo is part of Marsh Valley Joint School District 21, which includes nearby communities such as Downey, Inkom, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Swan Lake, and Virginia. The city park has a baseball diamond, playground, basketball hoop, and pavilion, while the South Bannock County Historical Museum documents the development of Arimo and its neighboring towns.
