Tucked into the southwest Georgia countryside about halfway between Albany and Dothan, Arlington offers a quiet, slow-paced lifestyle. The town straddles the border between Calhoun and Early counties, surrounded by wide-open stretches of peanut and cotton fields. It grew up as a 19th-century railroad stop, and you can still see that history today in its classic downtown storefronts and shaded residential streets.
