Arnegard is a city in McKenzie County, North Dakota, United States. The 2020 census counted 282 residents. Arnegard was founded in 1906 and is named for brothers Evan Arnegard and Oscar Arnegard, the first homesteaders in the area. The first church was a one-room log cabin, the Wilmington Lutheran Church.
