Ashtabula, OH

Ashtabula is the most populous city in Ashtabula County, Ohio, situated at the mouth of the Ashtabula River on Lake Erie. Historically operating as a critical terminal on the Underground Railroad for escaping slaves who crossed the lake to Canada, the port city of approximately 17,856 is served by the Ashtabula Area City Schools district.
