Sitting at the crossroads of M-32 and M-33 in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula, Atlanta is a small, quiet community known as the Elk Capital of Michigan. Winter is especially lively, when hundreds of snowmobilers pass through and the annual Sno*Drift Rally brings national rally racing to the surrounding forest roads. Once the snow melts, weekends fill up with ORV riders, anglers, and visitors coming to spot wild elk or celebrate the yearly Elk Festival. It offers a relaxed, unhurried lifestyle for anyone who loves the woods.
