About Attalla

Attalla is a city in Etowah County, Alabama, bordered directly to the east by the city of Gadsden and to the south by Rainbow City. The town developed on the site of a former Muscogee village that played a notable role in the Creek War, situated near the southern end of Lookout Mountain. Today the residential community is served by its own public school district, the Attalla City School System.
