Bacliff, TX

Bacliff is a census-designated place on the western shore of Galveston Bay in Galveston County, Texas, sixteen miles northwest of Galveston. Originally developed as a seaside resort town named Clifton by the Sea, the unincorporated community of approximately 9,541 is served by the Dickinson Independent School District for public education.
