Bagdad, AZ

Bagdad is a copper mining community and census-designated place in western Yavapai County, Arizona. As one of only two remaining company towns in the state, its identity and economy are closely tied to the local copper extraction operations. Local education is managed by the Bagdad Unified School District, which was established in 1930.
