Baileyton, AL

Baileyton is a quiet rural community of about 650 people set among the rolling farmland of northeastern Cullman County. The town traces its roots back to 1870, when a Georgia farmer named Robert Bailey settled the area, set up a cotton gin, and hosted the local Methodist congregation at his home. Over the next few decades, the crossroads grew into a self-sufficient farming hub with its own schools, gristmills, and general stores.

Today, Baileyton offers a peaceful, small-town atmosphere along State Route 69, giving residents easy access to both Cullman and nearby Arab.
