About Baldwin
Baldwin is an Allegheny County borough just south of Pittsburgh, with a residential, close-in suburban feel shaped by hills, local roads, and access to the Monongahela River side of the region. The borough was named for Henry Baldwin, a Pennsylvania congressman who later served on the U.S. Supreme Court. Its map has some quirks, including a narrow strip extending north along Becks Run Road toward the Pittsburgh neighborhoods around Hays. Baldwin is practical Pittsburgh suburbia: established neighborhoods, local schools, and quick access to the city.
