Banks is a city in Washington County, Oregon, situated where Oregon Route 6 meets Oregon Route 47. Named for local dairy farmers John and Nancy Banks and incorporated in 1921, the community of approximately 2,156 serves as the southern terminus of the Banks-Vernonia State Trail and is served by the Banks School District for public education.
