Banner Hill, TN

Banner Hill is an unincorporated Unicoi County community and census-designated place in the Appalachian country around Erwin. It uses Erwin's ZIP code and sits within the Johnson City-Kingsport-Bristol regional orbit, but its local setting is the valley and hills immediately around Erwin. U.S. 19W and the Nolichucky River help define the surrounding map, with wooded slopes, scattered homes, and country roads running toward the county seat and the Tri-Cities region.
