About Barton Hills

Barton Hills is a residential village in Washtenaw County, Michigan, situated on the north bank of Barton Pond along the Huron River. Established by Detroit Edison president Alex Dow around Barton Dam and incorporated in 1973 as a forested residential enclave, the neighborhood of approximately 430 is served by the Ann Arbor Public Schools.
