Bartonsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Frederick County, Maryland, situated in the southeastern portion of the county. Bordered to the west by the Monocacy River and to the north by Maryland Route 144, the community of approximately 3,282 is served by the Frederick County Public Schools district.
