Bayonet Point is a census-designated place in Pasco County, on Florida's Gulf Coast side north of Tampa. It is mostly a residential and commercial suburban area near Hudson, Port Richey, and New Port Richey rather than a separate incorporated town. The area has shopping, medical services, mobile home communities, subdivisions, and access to U.S. 19, which ties it to the rest of coastal Pasco County. Bayonet Point's appeal is practical Gulf-side living, with beaches, marinas, and Tampa Bay services within reach.
