Bean Station is an incorporated town situated along Cherokee Lake in Grainger and Hawkins counties, Tennessee. Founded in 1776 by pioneer William Bean at the historic intersection of Daniel Boone's Wilderness Road and the Great Indian Warpath, the lakeside community of approximately 3,016 is served by the Grainger County School District locally.
