Beaver Springs, PA

Beaver Springs is a census-designated place in Spring Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, in the ridged farm country of central Pennsylvania. The 2020 census counted 691 residents. The community is unincorporated, so its identity comes through the post office, township roads, nearby farms, and the names that have appeared on maps over time. Beaver Springs was first called Reigertown, later Adamsburg, and eventually took its current name through the post office. Wooded ridges and small farms still frame the settlement.

The place began with Adam Reiger, who received the land from the Penn proprietors and helped establish the settlement.
