Beechmont, KY

Beechmont is an unincorporated community in southeastern Muhlenberg County along U.S. 431, about nine miles east of Greenville and near the Green River watershed. The place has also been known as Beech Creek Junction, a name that points to its earlier railroad role. Local creeks drain toward Beech Creek, Hazel Creek, Little Hazel Creek, and Plum Creek, giving the surrounding roads and fields a distinctly water-shaped map. Drakesboro lies north, Dunmor south, and Greenville provides the county-seat connection.

Muhlenberg South Elementary sits on U.S. 431 in Beechmont and serves as the local school landmark, while the county school system connects students to older grades and wider activities.
