Belgreen, AL

Belgreen is a quiet rural community in northwest Alabama's Franklin County. Home to fewer than 200 residents, it briefly served as the county seat in the late nineteenth century until an 1890 courthouse fire prompted a move to Russellville. Today, the area centers around Belgreen High School, where school athletics and local events bring neighbors together in a relaxed country setting.
