Belle Fourche, SD

Set just north of the Black Hills where two rivers meet, Belle Fourche offers a relaxed small-town lifestyle with deep Western roots. Home to around 5,600 people, the town originally grew as a bustling cattle and wool trading hub founded by legendary sheriff Seth Bullock, and it proudly celebrates that heritage today with community events like the annual Black Hills Roundup rodeo. It is also famous for being the official geographic center of the United States, marked by a granite compass monument and visitor center right in town.
