About Bellefontaine

Bellefontaine is a city and the county seat of Logan County, Ohio, situated in the west-central part of the state. Within its city limits lies Campbell Hill, the highest point in Ohio. In 1891, Bellefontaine became the site of the first concrete street in America, pioneered by George Bartholomew using Portland cement. Public education is administered by the Bellefontaine City Schools district.
