About Bellevue
Bellevue is a village in Brown County, just outside Green Bay, with roots in a township settled by German immigrants around 1850 and originally called Manitou. Today it is more suburban than rural, tied closely to the Green Bay metro through schools, roads, shopping, and residential growth. Bellevue does not need a flashy hook to be understood: it is a practical northeastern Wisconsin community, close to the jobs and services of Green Bay while keeping its own village government and neighborhood scale.
