Berkeley Lake, GA

Berkeley Lake is a quiet, tucked-away community in northern Gwinnett County, located about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. Home to around 2,000 residents, the town is centered around an 88-acre lake and borders the Chattahoochee River. Wooded lots and waterfront homes give the area a peaceful, natural feel, while Peachtree Industrial Boulevard keeps you close to shopping and dining in Duluth and Peachtree Corners. The area started in the late 1940s as a summer retreat for fishermen and weekenders before officially incorporating as a city in 1956.
