About Bernalillo

Bernalillo is a town and the county seat of Sandoval County, New Mexico, situated in the Rio Grande Valley on the east bank of the river as part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area. European settlers and Catholic priests introduced wine grapes to the area in the 1620s, establishing a heritage celebrated today through an annual wine festival.
