About Bethany

Bethany is an Oklahoma County city in the Oklahoma City metro, founded in 1909 by members of the Church of the Nazarene. Oklahoma Holiness College, now Southern Nazarene University, grew from that religious and educational beginning and still shapes the city. Eldon Lyon Park and a small main-street culture add local gathering points.
