About Bigelow

Bigelow is a small Perry County town in central Arkansas, near where the Fourche La Fave River meets the Arkansas River. The community was incorporated in 1905 as Esau, then took the name Bigelow a few years later. It is a residential river-country town with a local school district, Bigelow High School, and a history tied to settlement around the old Esau community and nearby bridge crossings.
