About Bladensburg

Bladensburg is a historic town in Prince George's County, Maryland, situated at the confluence of the Northeast and Northwest branches of the Anacostia River. Originally called Garrison's Landing and established as a commercial seaport in 1742, the town was renamed in honor of Maryland Governor Thomas Bladen.
