Bloomfield Hills, MI

Bloomfield Hills is a small Oakland County city north of Detroit, known for large homes, private schools, and a residential, wooded residential character. The area grew out of Bloomfield Township, part of Oakland County's early 19th-century township organization. Today the city is associated with affluence, architecture, and institutions such as Cranbrook, one of metro Detroit's major cultural and educational landmarks. Bloomfield Hills is not large, but it has an outsized reputation in southeastern Michigan as one of the region's most established high-end communities.
