Bloomingdale, NJ

Bloomingdale is a historic borough in Passaic County, New Jersey, characterized by its four private lake communities, which include Glen Wild Lake and Lake Iosco. The borough's Federal Hill was the historic site of the 1781 Pompton Mutiny during the Revolutionary War, which was put down on direct orders from George Washington. Early industrial growth was driven by a local nineteenth-century rubber mill.
