About Blue River

Blue River is a statutory town in Summit County, Colorado, situated in the scenic Blue River Valley along State Highway 9. Incorporated in 1964 and located just south of Breckenridge, the high-altitude residential community of approximately 1,410 is served by the Breckenridge post office. Public education for local students is administered by the Summit School District.
