Bluebell, UT

Bluebell is a census-designated place in eastern Duchesne County, on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation. The 2020 census counted 278 residents. It sits at about 6,201 feet along local roads east of State Route 87 and northeast of Duchesne, the county seat. The community's post office uses ZIP Code 84007, and the surrounding benchland opens toward Big Sand Wash Reservoir, about four miles to the south. Bluebell is an agricultural place in the high Uintah Basin, with distance and elevation shaping everyday travel.

Local history ties the name to the bluebells that grew across the benchland in spring. Heber Powell suggested the name, and a post office was assigned to Bluebell on November 4, 1911.
