Bluefield is a town in Tazewell County, Virginia, situated at the foot of East River Mountain along the Bluestone River. Originally incorporated as Graham in 1884 and renamed in 1924, the high-elevation community of approximately 4,979 is home to Bluefield University and served by the Tazewell County Public Schools district locally.
