Blythewood, SC

Blythewood is a town spanning Richland and Fairfield counties, South Carolina, operating as a northern suburb of Columbia. Originally named Doko, a Native American word for a watering place, the community of approximately 5,731 grew around a stop on the Charlotte-Columbia railroad line. The town serves as the United States headquarters for Spirax-Sarco Engineering and is served by Richland School District Two.
