Bolivar, PA

Bolivar is a tiny, quiet borough nestled in eastern Westmoreland County, home to just over 400 residents. Tucked right along the Conemaugh River where Tubmill Creek flows in, the town has a classic western Pennsylvania river valley setting. It grew throughout the 19th century alongside the Pennsylvania Canal and the railroad, eventually making a name for itself through its local clay works and brickyards. Today, it offers a peaceful, close-knit residential environment surrounded by wooded hills and scenic waterways.
