Brecksville is a Cuyahoga County city south of Cleveland, founded in 1811 after Colonel John Breck and others purchased land in the area. Many neighborhoods sit near the Brecksville Reservation of Cleveland Metroparks, giving the city a wooded, ravine-cut setting that feels more natural than many suburbs. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's Brecksville Station even appeared in the film A Man Called Otto.
