Brooker is a town in Bradford County, Florida, United States. The 2020 census counted 322 residents. Brooker is part of the North Central Florida region. In 1838, the community was initially called " Ward City ", which was named after an early settler, E. Brooker makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Brooker is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. Collins petitioned for a US Post Office, and became postmaster in 1894. The town has an offshoot of the Santa Fe River.
