Positioned right along Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder, the area gives residents an easy commute in either direction alongside a thriving local economy. The Interlocken business park serves as a major hub for tech, aerospace, and research companies, providing thousands of jobs right in town. When you need to run errands or grab dinner, the Flatiron Crossing area offers plenty of shopping and dining options. You get the breathing room of a suburban community with fast access to major employment centers and weekend mountain getaways.

Alongside its modern business parks and retail centers, the community holds onto a genuine small-town spirit, best seen during the annual Broomfield Days festival each September. Held at Midway Park in the heart of the original neighborhoods, this weekend celebration brings the whole area together. Locals turn out early for a community pancake breakfast and 5K run, followed by a parade down Midway Boulevard, craft booths, food trucks, live music, and the popular rubber duck race. It is a welcoming tradition where long-time residents and newcomers easily mingle.

Getting around without a car is easy thanks to RTD’s Flatiron Flyer bus rapid transit line, which stops right in Broomfield and connects commuters to downtown Denver or Boulder in about twenty minutes. Outdoor recreation is just as accessible. The city has preserved more than a third of its land for parks, protected open spaces, and connected multi-use trails. Whether you are biking after work or walking the dog on a weekend morning, you will find miles of quiet paths with sweeping views of the Flatirons and the Front Range.
