About Brownsburg

A growing paved-trail network now links several of Brownsburg's everyday destinations. The White Lick Creek Greenway crosses Interstate 74 to reach Arbuckle Acres and downtown, while the B&O Trail runs through Hendricks County and connects Brownsburg with Avon. Town-managed routes total more than 20 miles. Within 52-acre Arbuckle Acres, mature trees shade walking paths, playgrounds, courts, ball fields, picnic shelters, and the creek; the park also hosts summer concerts, outdoor movies, and the annual Blues in the 'Burg festival. Williams Park adds a seasonal splash pad and wooded Maple Ridge Trail, and Stephens Park provides dedicated pickleball hours. The same public spaces are serving a town that has changed quickly. Brownsburg grew from 21,285 residents in 2010 to 28,973 in 2020 and an estimated 34,089 in 2025.

Town Hall Green supplies another recurring gathering place: the 2026 farmers market brings more than 30 growers, food producers, and artisans downtown on Thursday afternoons, with a public-library activity tent and themed market weeks. Brownsburg Public Library itself opens seven days a week and schedules programs across age groups, including story sessions, book activities, computer classes, and partner-led camps.
