About Brunswick
Brunswick is the largest city in Medina County, Ohio, and part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. It was founded in 1815 and, unusually, was named after Brunswick, Germany through a naming contest. Today Brunswick is a sizeable suburban community with more than thirty-five thousand residents. Public education is handled by Brunswick City School District, which includes six elementary schools, a middle school, and Brunswick High School. The city is practical and family-oriented, with Cleveland access and a Medina County identity.
