About Buchanan

Buchanan is a village in the town of Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York, situated along the Hudson River. Formerly home to the decommissioned Indian Point nuclear power facility and famous for donating the 2000 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, the community of approximately 2,397 is served by the Hendrick Hudson Central School District for public primary and secondary education.
